Who we are
Learn Signwriting
The Chalk Spot is run at home by Clair, who is passionate about making beautiful bespoke and personalised chalkboards and signage. They make great presents and keepsakes for yourself, friends and family. They are also extremely popular for Brides and Grooms. Clair is ahead of the trends and bursting with new ideas, and is always happy to help plan your event with you.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our products. We carefully selected real wood for our frames and source beautiful resources from British suppliers. We have many years of retail experience under our belt, from busy market stalls and shops to head office buying and merchandising teams. We strive for excellent customer service and hope to make each sale personal and enjoyable.
We are growing more and more focused on helping you to learn Modern Signwriting and Modern Calligraphy. Clair is a dedicated teacher of this skill and we are sure you will find our book, worksheets, kits and help groups extremely informative and full of great ideas.

The Chalk Spot started as an upcycle project at home, creating a chalkboard to treasure for a very special little girls first birthday. We have had a whirlwind start to our small business and couldn't be more proud of what it has achieved. We hope you enjoy our page - drop us a message to say hi!
