DIY hurricane rememberance lantern candle

Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed, still very dear.

Our Hurricane lantern is from IKEA - they have a great selection and are easy to assemble. They are also a great price!

We have decorated ours with a beautiful remembrance poem. This would look lovely at a wedding or event to keep a candle burning to remember loved ones. It's beautiful yet subtle and can go inside or outside.

The white signwriting pen used is available in our kit here. If you would like help with the lettering or technique, our book is crammed full of lots of hints and tips. If you think you might find it easier to trace, before you assemble the IKEA lantern you can lay the sides over a template (which is easier to do that putting it together then trying to take it apart again later!)
